What counts as a mining source
Manual mining is the work applied by your equipped pickaxe and Player upgrades. Current community labels include Damage, Mine Speed, and Mine Distance. These can change work per block, action cadence, or time spent repositioning, but each should be tested through its displayed current effect.
Drones are community-reported mobile automated miners. Their productive contribution depends on attack performance, travel, range, target choice, and idle time. Turrets provide more fixed automated coverage in current gameplay and depend on reachable targets and firing uptime.
Party members are another source of mountain progress, but the checked public material does not fully explain individual cash credit or shared upgrades. In a group, total progress and personal cash may answer different questions.
Define a cash sample
Record starting cash, ending cash, duration, purchases, layer or progress, pickaxe, major upgrades, party, power-ups, chests, eagle events, and unusual ore. For a clean sample, make no purchases and avoid opening chests during the timer.
Cash earned is ending cash - starting cash only when no spending occurred. If you buy an upgrade, add the cost back or keep earnings and spending as separate fields. Ending balance alone can make a productive run look weak after a large purchase.
Use cash per minute only for your own comparable samples. A universal rate requires a stable formula and identical setup that the current public sources do not establish. Layer, block types, automation, and update state can all change the result.

Block durability and payout
The official description states that blocks yield cash but gives no formula. Measure ordinary blocks on the current layer before comparing special ore. Record hits or seconds, not only the popup. A block with a larger payout can have a lower reward per time when it requires a long detour or much more work.
Current community material names Copper, Gold, and Emerald and supplies dated payout examples for Gold and Emerald. Keep those numbers attached to that source and check your current server. Do not assume the full ore order, durability, or layer availability.
Automation can make durability harder to observe because several sources may hit at once. Use an isolated target for a manual test, then observe total layer time for the practical combined result.
Cash and the Skill Tree
Cash spending changes future income and progress. Before buying, name the limit and the success signal. A Damage node should reduce work on comparable targets. Rate should increase useful actions. Speed or Distance should reduce travel or positioning loss when those are the current meanings. Another unit should add productive simultaneous coverage.
Repeat a short sample after one purchase. If the result improves, compare whether the upgrade can repay its cost before the current objective ends. The payback depends on your rate, remaining mountain, and update state; it is not a permanent table value.
Do not save cash without a visible target. Saving can be useful for a major unlock, while spending can be useful when a cheap node increases earnings during the wait. The live menu and current bottleneck decide.
Ores, multipliers, and chests
Keep ore-rich samples labeled. They represent practical route luck or target choice, not ordinary base income. When 2X Money appears according to current community reporting, begin a separate boosted sample and record its timer.
End the cash timer before opening a chest. Official text confirms buried chests, and community gameplay reports gems from one. Gem income should not be included in ordinary cash unless the game explicitly converts it.
If an eagle event interrupts the route, record lost time and outcome. Use clean samples for upgrade comparison and interrupted samples for realistic full-run planning.
Solo and group mechanics
Solo play lets one account connect actions, purchases, and balances. In a group, record who mines, who owns automation, whether upgrades are shared, and how personal cash changes. Do not assume total mountain speed equals every player’s cash speed.
Assign zones to reduce duplicate work. One player can take isolated ore or edges while automation and teammates cover dense areas. Confirm chest ownership and power-up effects separately.
Mining problems and fixes
If cash rises but visible progress is slow, check for high-value ore and spending differences. If progress rises but personal cash does not, investigate automated or party credit. If both stall, watch block durability, unit activity, and target access.
If two samples differ widely, repeat them after removing power-ups, chests, eagle events, layer transitions, and purchases. A stable result is more useful than a long uncontrolled run.
